HMD on-load tap-changer is a voltage regulating device operated in the transformer excitation or load state, which is mainly used to change the tap connection position of the transformer, so as to adjust the output voltage of the transformer. The basic principle is to change the number of turns of the winding by switching the tap in the transformer winding without interrupting the load current, and then adjust the voltage ratio of the transformer to achieve the purpose of voltage regulation.
